This year, May Day is going to be held in a
situation which the US imperialism and its allies have imposed
a devastating war on the Iraqi deprived people, Middle East
and the rest of the world for the purpose of the protection
and spreading its political, economic and military domination
on the world. The destiny of millions of deprives and tolling
masses have been affected by this war, yet the workers and the
toiling masses must carry the heavy burden of the war expenses.
Horrific crimes have turned Iraq into ruins, enormous human
and economic loss will have long-term impacts on the lives of
this innocent people.
Workers and communists in the front lines
of the global anti-war movement have demonstrated their
protest and hatred against this devastating war. And in the
May Day parade they voice out their anger all around the world
against the crimes have been committed.
War and displacement is only one of the
miseries of capitalism. A system which relies on the
exploitation and the wage working of the billions of the
workers and toiling masses. And today in extreme spread and
globalise of capitalism, more than any time before this system
has generated the growing and broadening of class clashes,
gender and national discrimination and racism. This injustice
system, as it advances forward, it results into more social
division and sharpening class clashes. Informatics revolution
peak and modernisation not only have not reduced the scale of
this exploitation and inequality but they have further
enhanced.
In the past year, millions of workers all
around the world, in Italy, Germany, France, USA, Japan, India,
Indonesia, South Korea, Iran, Turkey and other countries have
continued their struggle against poverty, unemployment, lack
of rights and economic, political and social inequality.
Through this struggle they have expressed their aversion and
resentment against this exploitative system to the world.
Working class women and men
Freedom and economical, political and
social equality will be part of the fundamentals of the world
in which workers would govern. The administration of this
society would relies and depends on consultative democracy and
direct participation of all individual in the society on
determination of their destiny. Under the working class rule,
Poverty, social divisions, cultural differences, national
discrimination and sex discrimination will be wiped out.
The workers’ march in May Day demonstrates
their great power for materialising this free and equal
system. The workers challenge the whole rotten system on this
day. The workers will come to the streets in order to send
their message to the people all around the world through the
international anthem and by showing their united ranks for
establishing a human society and free of suppression, where
the humanity deserves.
