Communist party
of Iran’s declaration due to the 8th of March the
international women’s day
Iranian
women’s motion is scattered because of a harsh dictatorship
that is imposed by Iranian Islamic government. Iranian women
are disorganized and couldn’t use their vast and nationwide
organized power and abilities, but it is optimistic and so far
it has a deep influence on all aspect of daily life and
struggle in Iranian society.
The women’s movement and
it’s involvement has been not only seen in all kind of protest
against imposed Islamic sexual apartheid rules that enslaves
women as a second class sex, but also we can see it’s effect
and progress on political and social life from government and
ruling class reactions and their effort to control it.
Really, in the present
Iranian history, the women’s case, never catch so successfully
the attention of public opinion in a such scale as today has,
in this reason, reformist tendencies among women’s movements
are trying to hollow the quality and revolutionary nature of
this movement, so that they use it as a tool to serve their
own capitalist class interests. We should see the
Islamic-feminism and Liberal-feminism in this regards.
During the last 2 decade
Islamic-feminist has done everything to justify women’s
privation, patriarchal rules and daily humiliations of women.
This period, they used women’s protest and movement to force
Khatamy to take power.
These people (by using
governmental possibilities and supports) are trying to use
women’s privation to gain their own goals and beautify and
justify Islamic laws against women protest. Their strategy is
to keep this government permanence and make pace between
women’s situation and Islamic laws.
In contrast with Islamists-
feminists, Liberal-feminists are emphasizing on secularism and
separation of religion and state. They see the privations of
women are as a kind of cultural backwardness and a heritage
from past, but not as class oppression by capitalist system.
They try to prove that the root of women’s oppression is a
social tradition from past.
They (Both of them) consider
liberalism and free market economy as a possibility to improve
woman’s condition. Their solutions are the reason to believe
that they are not familiar with the difficulties that majority
of women are facing.
The miserable condition of
women in the eastern Asia and Latin-America where they are
experiencing liberalized economy is a witness to imagine what
is expecting for Iranian by adapting such a model of economy.
To guarantee the success of
women’s movement, the communist activist has to challenge such
a wrong tendencies among women and reveal their true
identities.
It is necessary to explain
that Capitalism is not even capable of realizing what is
preaching about women. Even if all women have a job, but so
long they must serve as a housewife and working outside of the
house and receive no help from government or society, it won’t
be equality between man and woman. If there is no support for
women during and after pregnancy we can’t talk about equality.
Equality in employment and social development demands changing
in attitude and be prepare for the financial costs, but with a
Capitalism system there will be no an improvement in women
condition.
Islamic Capitalist
government with all his power is imposing its patriarchal
culture on Iranian society and because of this, freedom for
women is connected to minorities’ national case and working
class struggles.
The 25 years experiences in
revolutionary Kurdistan is a witness, when a women movement is
associated with mass movement, nationalism slogan become weak
and less effective.
Under Iranian theocratic
regime, women’s privation is very vast and communist activists
have to be involved in all struggles and show their
capabilities to unify them.
We honor the 8th March, the
international women day with a decisive will to expand a
socialist horizon in our women movements and relate it with
labor movement and reinforce solidarity with international
women movement against sexual inequality.
